PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
Shameen has significant experience in planning, executing and managing audits of large privately held companies in Singapore which has entailed coordinating audits carried out by a number of non-member offices in the region and dealing with challenging accounting issues.
In addition to his audit portfolio, Shameen has advised large audit engagement teams on the interpretation of auditing standards and their application to complex audits.

His past audit experience was with the Big 4 as well as Mid-tier audit firms and his clients included companies listed in Qatar, Singapore and multi-national corporations with operations around the world.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND
Outside of work, Shameen keeps himself grounded through a disciplined gym routine, a habit he believes carries over into the rigour he brings to his audits. Above all, he is a devoted husband to Suhaidah and a doting father to his three daughters, who are the apple of his eye.
