Priya thrives in the dynamic nature of working in tax accounting, where she is constantly required to find ways to meet the needs of both individual and business clients.
PROFESSIONAL BACKGROUND
While her early career was spent in Malaysia as an accountant, Priya most recently specialised in auditing at various organisations. This included working as a Senior Auditor in Singapore’s KLP LLP Audit firm.
CST TAX SENIOR ACCOUNTANT
As a Senior Accountant with CST, Priya is responsible for a wide variety of tax compliance matters. These include reviewing tax filings and reports, as well as resolving complex issues from clients.
QUALIFICATIONS
On her path to attain her ACCA membership, Priya became one of the top scoring students in the completion of her Certified Accounting Technician (CAT) and ACCA papers.
In addition to her strong tax, accounting, and auditing skills, Priya has excellent public relations (PR) experience and knowledge. These well-honed interpersonal and customer service skills ensure that she consistently delivers exceptional services.
INTERNATIONAL TAX EXPERIENCE
In addition to living and working in Malaysia prior to moving to Singapore, Priya has extensive professional experience travelling overseas to complete auditing duties. She has worked in several different countries, including Thailand, Indonesia, and Vietnam, and is familiar with the requirements of international tax work.
Priya multilingual skills include fluency in Mandarin, Tamil, Malay and English.
PERSONAL BACKGROUND
As a life mantra, Priya believes one should “live like there’s no tomorrow”.
When she is not honing her professional skills, or enjoying her time travelling to new countries, Priya loves to spend time with her friends and family. As a spicy food lover, her favourite cuisines are chinese and thai food, but she’s always up to explore new tastes.
She’s also quite athletic and holds a Brown Belt in Karate. The opportunity to go for a Black Belt is, however, beckoning her.
