Our journey began in 1992 when our Founder, John Marcarian, founded his own practice in Sydney.
Focusing on private clients and their globally mobile aspirations, CST quickly became a specialist in advising clients on tax matters when moving abroad.
THE ROAD TO SINGAPORE
Our Singapore office opened in 2004, initially providing services to expats moving to Singapore or establishing a business in Singapore from Australia.
Since then we have grown our international presence with an office in Los Angeles opening in 2010, followed by London in 2020, an office in Dubai in 2022 and, most recently, an office in New York.
Today, we provide tax and accounting services to companies seeking to establish a presence in Singapore from around the world. Our focus is on managing the tax affairs of global founders moving to Singapore to establish or expand their business.
Our international tax expertise enables our clients to enter Singapore, and expand beyond, with confidence.
In recent years, we have grown our Digital Asset Business tax and accounting capability and formed a team of professionals that deeply understand the digital asset space.

Australian born with Singaporean heritage, Boon heads up our Singapore office. His specialty lies in providing tax advice regarding the establishment of corporate structures in Singapore as well as international taxation matters for company founders and expatriate employees entering Singapore.

Su Yen brings 28 years of extensive experience in Singapore and Malaysia. Su Yen leads CST’s tax compliance practice in Singapore. She is a director who works directly with both domestic and international clients from a base in Singapore.

Matthew is the principal of CST Tax Advisors in Sydney. As a Chartered Accountant and international tax specialist, he brings more than two decades of experience to bear when advising clients who are investing or moving across borders. He holds a Master of Taxation, is a Chartered Tax Advisor and a Registered Tax Agent.

Jurate has a strong grasp of the complexities involved across US jurisdictions and utilizes these skills to assist with international tax concerns, particularly those pertaining to expats moving to, or from, the US.

Richard has over 20 years of experience working with clients moving to, living in, or departing the UK.
Throughout his career, Richard has developed a deep understanding of UK tax issues surrounding residence and domicile, inheritance tax, wealth planning, CGT, and tax compliance for both individuals and businesses.
